2nd Week of Learning Code

Not too much happened this week in regards to my coding progress.

For this week, I made pretty good progress and I am now working on applied visual design. I did not make as much progress as I would have like to have made but I am going to get back to learning a lot more in the coming weeks. I got the very basics of HTML and CSS down. I have started to work more on trying to make some type of landing page on my own without following a video tutorial. I don’t want to get stick in that tutorial hell that I have been reading and hearing so much about. I want to expand my knowledge and constantly be learning new things and implementing them into my own projects.

Coming up this week I will try to get as much done as I possibly can. Unfortunately, my sleep schedule is not so good and also my uncle passed away so I have to go to his funeral. That has set me back a little and has taken away some of my motivation.

Of course, I am still dedicated to learning though I just have to take it a little slower than I would like due to these unforeseen circumstances. I also had my first interview with a company that I used to work at for a Javascript technical support position. Hopefully, if I do get that job it would allow me to start learning even more about coding, how to troubleshoot, and how to explain to others in a way that they are able to understand. Overall it was a pretty good week of progress and I hope to start learning even more about the coding community.
